Mission and Philosophy
Our mission is to create a comprehensive educational environment that creates opportunities for families to achieve self-worth by instilling values, integrity through education that enriches the child, family, and the community.
We endeavor to do the following in caring for children:
- Provide a safe, secure, nurturing environment for children and families
- Provide engaging and creative experiences and opportunities for children that are developmentally appropriate, and that encourage learning through play.
- Model respect for others through positive interactions.
- Allow each participant to grow individually.
- Develop in each participant, a positive self-image, and help each child see themselves as a worthy individual.
My Choice Community Development, Inc. (My Choice) offers the opportunity for each child to develop physically, socially, emotionally and cognitively based on the child’s individual learning style.
